Marla Eizik is a writer and editor living in Portland, OR. Currently, they act as Associate Editor at TKO Studios. Previously, they acted as Talent Liaison at Image Comics, and were one of the founding members of Comic Book Workers United, the first union for comic book workers in history. Marla is the current editor on the Image title LOVE EVERLASTING, with Elsa Charretier and Tom King. They are editor on several unannounced Image titles (coming soon!).
Marla is a frequent judge and mentor for Negative Space, an organization dedicated to giving emerging comic creators a clear path into the industry. They were formerly an Associate Prose & Poetry Editor for Typehouse Magazine.
Marla's writing work has appeared in Sky Island Journal, Buckmxn Journal, and The Maine Review, and received Best of the Net for their story in the inaugural issue of Taco Bell Quarterly (yes it's true).
